KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

From 21-25 November the Department of Musical Education of the Faculty of Art Education of the Pedagogical University participated in the conference of Students’ Scientific Creative Association of the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas.

The sessions of the first three days took place at the YSC where the ASPU 2nd year MA student of the Department of Musical Education Susanna Grigoryan (academic supervisor- Cand of Math., Associate Professor of the Chair of Music Pedagogy Gohar Melicksetyan) made a report about “Creative Portrait of Arzas Voskanyan”.

The ASPU postgraduate introduced the saturated activities of the outstanding representatives of contemporary Armenian music, composer, singer, pedagogue Arzas Voskanyan on his 70th anniversary.

The sessions organized from 24 to 25 November had offsite locations; they were concluded with a joined session held at the ASPU on 25 November.

The session was conducted by Associate Professor Margarita Baghdasaryan (ASPU) and Professor Willie Sargsyan (YSC); among those participation at the session were the members of the working group named after the philosopher, aesthete, talented art figure of the 20th century, scientist Arshak Adamyan.

The regular cooperation between the ASPU and the YSC was summarized by setting a condition of having further new joint initiatives.
