Event dedicated to International Children's Day

The Museum of Armenian State Pedagogical University organized an event dedicated to International Children's Day which is observed annually on June 1.

The start of the event was announced by “Young Guide” circle which held a study excursion for pupils of the ASPU Primary School. They presented the exhibits in the Museum, the history and chronology of the University.

The festive event continued with fingerpaint with children painting with their fingers on clay tiles and paper on subjects that they preferred.

The youngest guest of the event was 3-year-old Elina Gardyan. First she got acquainted with the museum samples, then was involved in the most important activity of the day - fingerpaint. Using different colours in her work, she proved that she was in high spirits and had a strong desire to sing and dance.

“My grandfather was the first person to congratulate me on the occasion. I have received many presents, but I am waiting for the most important event of the day – the arrival of my favourite cartoon character Elsa,” Elina said adding that it would be good if the holiday was celebrated several times a year.

Rafael Momchyan studies at the ASPU Primary School Primary School. He received the first congratulation of the day from his mother and the first present from his sister. Speaking to old.aspu.am, he confessed that he hadn’t congratulated his friends because they were all on holiday. “I want all children to be healthy. I want them to listen to their parents. I want boys to serve in the army,” Rafael said. The most important thing that he wishes is that children live in a peaceful homeland.

Aram Gumrikyan, 10, first took part in the tour around the museum, then joined the festival of colors and games, and conveyed the mood of the day to the colorful papers with colorful paints.

“I started the day in a festive mood because it's a real holiday, full of balloons, kisses and congratulations,” he said. He wishes that all children love their friends and listen to their parents.

The event was accompanied by interesting games, conveying everyone a festive mood.
