Exhibition: Pupils display their artworks

Fourth-year students of ASPU majoring in Painting and Drawing organized an exhibition at the Karen Demirchyan Museum within the framework of pedagogical practices. Pupils of ASPU Primary and High Schools participated in the exhibition entitled “Hello, Autumn!”

During the 4-week pedagogical practices, the students led by the head of internship, Lilit Grigoryan, tried to bring pupils closer to art, develop their skills in different directions, creating more than 50 works on the theme of autumn.

The exhibition was aimed at motivating pupils and awakening love for art in them. The initiative was hailed not only by parents, but also by the academic staff of the Faculty of Art Education, who considered it an unprecedented event organized during an internship.

The students were equally moved and excited by the exhibition. They believe that the new principle of evaluating pedagogical practices will allow them to express [through similar exhibitions] their pedagogical skills and results of joint work with pupils.

The exhibition will run until October 8.

Let us mention that Canadian Armenian painter Georgy Kasipian has donated the participating schoolchildren painting supplies and other gifts.
