Lecturers of the Chair of Russian Language of the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized a number of extracurricular events last week, with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students of the same Faculty.
Second-year students of the Faculty of Art Education led by Lecturer Zaruhi Melkikyan visited the National Gallery of Armenia while first-year MA students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages led by Lecturers Gayane Chanchapanyan and Svetlana Mikaelyan visited Sergei Parajanov Museum.
The students were introduced to the artistic heritage of the great Armenian painters and talked to the guides in the Russian language.
“The aim of the events organized within the framework of extracurricular activities is to develop students’ abilities to communicate and express their opinion in the Russian language. Similar events contribute to the strengthening of the knowledge acquired during the years of study and help formation of the new knowledge,” the lecturers said in conversation with old.aspu.am.
