Film screening and discussion at ASPU

Ani Khudoyan and Zaruhi Shahinyan, both lecturers at the Chair of Theory and History of Psychology, Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology, organized screening and discussion of the psychological film “Sign Language: Lie Detection.”

The film screening, held at the Research Laboratory of Psychology in Crisis and Emergency Situations, was attended by students from different Faculties of the University. During the discussion, the participants analyzed every single gesture of the film, drawing parallels between common phenomena and their scientific explanations.

After the film screening, the future pedagogues once again became convinced that they can read the thoughts, emotions and feelings of other people without words, through non-verbal cues.

At the end of the meeting, the students thanked for the interesting initiative and expressed their wish to see more events of this kind organized at the University.
