KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

It’s already the second year that the Pedagogical University Chair of Music is performing a final reporting concert.

Students from all disciplines offered by this Chair are participating in the already traditional concert. In addition, the Chair will be performing its concert programme in Tsaghkadzor on 9 May.

Among the participant of the concert were the national instruments band (Artistic Director Norayr Darbinyan), the Qanun players ensemble (Director Hasmik Leyloyan), Jazz band (Director Yervand Yerznkyan), the Brass Band (Art. Director Kolya Martirosyan), Ensemble of Duduk players (Director Hrach Nazaryan), Ensemble of Clarinettists (Director Sevada Shhoyan), and the Ensemble of Dhol Players (Director Araz Ordinyan).

“I attach a lot of importance to such concerts. This is a unique experience just before the concert and also a good occasion to summarise the May holidays”, mentioned the Head of the Chair of Music Ara Gevorgyan and assured that the music collectives on the Chair are constantly ensuring festive mood and stand out with their high performance.
