The results of the essay writing competition on the topic of “Teaching is my Profession” were finalised, the competition was organised by the initiative of the ASPU Chair of Armenian Language and its Teaching Methods for already the second time.
Pupils from various Faculties of the University and a number of school participated in the competition with overall 40 works.
The Board, consisting of the Professors of the Chair of Armenian Language and its Teaching Methods, selected the winners of the 1st and 2nd prizes, as well as the outstanding works in various nominations, such as “The Most Exciting Story”, “Philosophical Thoughts”, “Honesty”, “Seeds of Kindness”, etc.
The Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education Ms. Heghinei Khachatryan congratulated the participants and the winners, hoping to see all those pupils as their applicants in future. She assured that with their everyday work they are making efforts to strengthen the university-school relations.
The Head of the Chair of Armenian Language and its Teaching Methods Ms. Julieta Gyulamiryan stated that it was not easy to select the best works out of 40 essays, each of them was unique and particularly interesting.
The participants of the competition visited the University’s Museum, got familiarised with the history and chronology, structure and activities of the ASPU.
