Today is a holiday for all of us- it is the day that announces the entry to the world of knowledge. This day brings kindness, joy and belief in future. The start of the new academic year was announced at the base college (high-school) of the ASPU after Khachatur Abovyan.
143 students, inspired with their own goals and dreams, stepped into the ASPU base college for the first time. The Director of the college Naira Safaryan greeted the students of the college, the ASPU students, teachers and professors, the devotees of education and science.
“The new academic year is obliging for all of us as the success of reforms in the education sector depends on the consistent work and dedication by each of us. It is not a surprise that 1 September is also marked as the Knowledge Day, which has been the one of the supreme values for our nation for centuries,” Mentioned Naira Safaryan and wished everybody good luck in studies, national education and in patriotic act of Armenian education.
The students of the journalism flow of the college were welcomed and congratulated by the Head of the ASPU Chair of TV and Radio Journalism Levon Galstyan.
“The world of knowledge is similar to a situation, where you open the close doors to see what’s there behind the door, and when you draw the curtain to discover the road of learning,” said Levon Galstyan and added that the Chair was ready to cooperate and support future journalists in all matters.
“We have a road to pass together, and we have all the capacity at the Chair to contribute to your professional development.
The school’s Student Council prepared a surprise for the new entrants of the college; randomly selected proverbs about education symbolized the start of their new academic year.
