KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The winners of the “Best student of the Republic 2018” contest were awarded last week. During the solemn ceremony, Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan gave certificates and scholarships to the winners in various spheres.

Four students of Armenian State Pedagogical University were recognized winners in various scientific areas. Elya Khachatryan came first in Natural Science, Zvart Ambroyan and Marine Sahradyan came second and third in Armenian Studies, and Anahit Hovakimyan was third in Social Science.

Arayik Harutyunyan congratulated the winners of the competition and called on everyone to be free, critical, initiative and purposeful and to use the opportunities provided by the new Armenia to ensure progress in the country.

This year, 37 BA and MA students from 15 HEIs were named winners in 7 fields (natural science, social science, Armenology, humanities, medicine, engineering and culture-sport).

Fourteen students won first prize, twelve students won second and eleven students - third prize respectively.
