On May 16, freshmen of the Faculty of Primary Education majoring in elementary education and methodology performed a reporting concert to present the audience the results of their first year of study at ASPU.
During the concert, they performed the well-known but less performed works of Komitas, Arno Babajanyan, Khachatur Avetisyan, Alexey Hekimyan, Sayat-Nova, Vladimir Shainsky and others.
For many years now, Conductor Vachagan Navasardyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Preschool Education and Methods, has been summarizing his work with first-year students in this format of concerts.
The maestro confesses that the year has been difficult; he was not sure that the hybrid courses would be effective, but serious work has been done with the students.
Armenuhi Manukyan, the newly appointed head of the Chair of Preschool Education and Methods, stressed the importance of such concert.
She highly appreciated Mr. Navasardyan's work and expressed hope that in the near future the Faculty of Primary Education will have its own choir made up of students.
Armenuhi Manukyan added that seeing smiling faces in the hall will be the main appraisal of work.
