Future lawyers receive diplomas

Aghvan Hovsepyan, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia who also chairs a qualifying examination committee at the ASPU, handed over diplomas to some 20 graduates of the Faculty of History and Law who completed a distance learning course at the University.

Congratulating the students on the occasion, Mr Hovsepyan confessed that many of them had really satisfied him with their answers. “The educator is satisfied with his work when he sees the fruits of his work, the reflection of the knowledge that he has shared [with his audience]. I would be most pleased if you could demonstrate your knowledge and help people apply laws correctly,” he said.

ASPU Rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan also congratulated the students and wished them success in their future endeavours. He considered it highly binding for the students to receive diplomas personally from Aghvan Hovsepyan.

The ASPU Rector also promised to do everything possible for the graduates to feel proud of their Alma Mater.

Joining the congratulations and good wishes, Dean of the Faculty of History and Law Edgar Hovhannisyan expressed hope that the graduates will not only use their diplomas at work, but for their homeland and society as well.

The students, in their turn, thanked the ASPU Rector, Chairman and members of the qualifying examination committee and the Dean of the Faculty for creating good conditions for the learning process and involving leading specialists in the teaching staff. Wishing their Alma Mater new achievements and success, the MA students promised to serve the sphere devotedly and selflessly.
