KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On the threshold of New Year and Christmas the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Chair of Romance-Germanic Languages organised a visit to an orphanage in Gavar.

The academic staff members and the students joined this initiative undertaken by the Dean of the Faculty Tigran Mickaelyan and the Head of the Chair Yelena Mkhitaryan.

Clothes, stationery, developing games, sweets, good mood and a great desire to cheer up the kids – this is how the students of the University after Kh. Abovyan prepared for the meeting of the orphanage children.

The day’s cheerful spirit, warm and cordial atmosphere served as proofs that the children were really waiting for the students and lecturer. The students presented several musical performances, communicated with the children, described to them the University, their mission and profession.

According to the future pedagogues the meeting was mutually pleasant and unforgettable. In their opinion that was an exceptional initiative for future teachers from the perspective of development of their communication skills.
