Future psychologists participate in Autumn School in Moscow

Eight MA and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology attended a ten-day Autumn School held at Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE).

During the visit, the ASPU representatives became familiarized with the education system in Russia, models and methods of organizing teaching and promoting professional growth. The students say the Russian education system has numerous methods which can be applied in Armenia as well.

The ASPU delegates were impressed by the student-lecturer partnership when lecturers took into consideration opinions and suggestions of students.

"It was very important for us to work with professional instruments and devices that are used in studies and research. It helped us gain practical skills which we shall apply in our work in the future,” said future psychologist Linda Hekimyan.

The future teachers highlighted the importance of conditions created at the host university for students with limited or interrupted education.

The participants of the Moscow Autumn School stressed that in addition to acquiring professional skills; they also had a good time in the Russian capital and returned with interesting and good memories.
