The next masterclass organized by the Chair of Armenian Language and its Teaching Methods after Ashot Ter-Grigoryan was held on October 10.
This time, students and lecturers of the Faculty of Primary Education hosted writer, literary critic and journalist Hovik Charkhchyan. The topic of the conversation was the writer’s book “Sulamita: the Great Love of Sevak.”
With his unique style and skills the writer was able to turn the correspondence between Sevak and Sulamita Rudnik into a novel. This is a unique phenomenon in Armenian and foreign literature.
Linguistic materials are usually studied with the help of literary texts within the framework of the Armenian Language and Literature subject. This time, letters were studied with the help of non-standard letters.
During the meeting, the author presented the reasons for writing the book and the difficult creative process. The meeting was very effective and was held in a warm atmosphere. The author revealed many secrets, spoke about his upcoming novel and creative work.
