Graduates of Faculty of Primary Education receive diplomas

“Success, wealth and money are not stable and permanent in life, but knowledge is permanent. Today, after receiving graduation diplomas, the doors to a mysterious life open before you. Do not block the way to develop your knowledge and skills. Let it become an incentive [for you] to make the right choice and develop your professional abilities. You are our partners. We are always by your side and we are waiting for you with love," Heghine Khachatryan, Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education, said when addressing the graduates of the Faculty. She confessed that every year on this day, she has a great desire to turn back time and be a graduating student herself.

In a solemn environment symbolizing knowledge, 184 graduates of the Faculty received graduation diplomas: 68 undergraduates, 34 MA students and 82 students taking distance learning courses in the Faculty. Thirty -five of them received diplomas with honours.

Heads and professors of the chairs also congratulated the students on the occasion of completing an important phase in their lives.

Julieta Gyulamiryan, Acting Head of the Chair of Armenian Language and its Teaching Methods after Ashot Ter-Grigoryan, advised the new generation of educators not to be satisfied with what they have achieved, to learn and improve their skills and knowledge.

Julieta Gyulamiryan recalled the beginning of the graduates’ student life and said the outcome is satisfactory.

"You have spent the best years in your life at ASPU. You have acquired theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities, developed your personal qualities and shaped your image. I wish you to be a model [for others] and have great achievements in your professional field," Svetlana Marutyan, Professor of the Chair of Preschool Education and Methodology, said when congratulating the students.
According to tradition, graduates of previous years were also present at the graduation ceremony.

An excellent ASPU student with a promising future... This is how professors describe Anahit Hovakimyan, one of the best graduates of the Faculty.

Anahit, who graduated seven years ago, assured her junior friends that ‘this is just the beginning of education and self-education. Today you’re getting the positive results of the sleepless nights and tension of the previous years.’

She stressed that she had acquired certain abilities at the Faculty; later she developed them herself. Anahit confesses that even today she is guided by the words of Dean Heghine Khachatryan who used to say that ideas are the most important resource, but one needs knowledge to have ideas. "If you want to be successful in life, try to use that knowledge to generate new ideas and bring them to life. We are all waiting for the result," she said in conclusion.
