History Olympiad organized at ASPU

The Faculty of History and Law of Armenian State Pedagogical University has organized History Olympiad for the second year in a row.

A total of 176 form pupils from Yerevan and marzes (regions) are participating in the event this year.
The tests are compiled by the example of entrance exams and are aimed at preparing future applicants for entrance exams, familiarize them with the format and samples of admission tests and help them gain experience.

The three winning pupils and ten best pupils will receive a discount of 10%-50% off tuition in their first year of study at the Faculty of History and Law, as well as presents and prizes.

Talking to old.aspu.am, Edgar Hovhannisyan, Dean of the Faculty of History and Law, said the number of Olympiad participants has grown considerably, even tripled, as compared with 2015 which proves that future applicants are interested both in the speciality and in the University.

Before the start of the Olympiad, the Dean presented the participants the latest teaching methods introduced at the University, internationalization processes and various events organized for students.

The pupils also visited the ASPU Library, museum and watched a film about the University.

The results of the Olympiad will be announced on November 23 and will be posted on the University website.

Four of the winners of the 2015 Olympiad are now studying at the Faculty of History and Law.
