A few days ago the Head of the ASPU International Cooperation Department Christina Tsaturyan conducted an information seminar on Erasmus+ credit mobility, Erasmus Mundus joint exchange programmes with the participation of the Universities administrative and teaching professorial staff, students and other interested participants.

The Vice-Rector for Personnel and International Cooperation Ara Yeremyan highlighted in his speech the importance of this topic in the internationalization of the University mentioning that at that period that was one of the most important strategic issues for the ASPU.

In her turn Christina Tsaturyan thoroughly presented the Credit mobility programme opportunities for educational institutions, the deadlines for the announced competitions, participation criteria, conditions, and financing issues.

Likewise, the speaker introduced those countries and universities, with which it is more purposeful to develop collaborative programmes and with the help of statistics showed the ways to find partners.

The Departments were suggested to show initiatives to get involved in programmes, to obtain partners, to develop cooperation with other universities.

The Vice-Rector for Personnel and International Cooperation Ara Yeremyan assured that in case you undertake an initiative the departments of the university, particularly the international Cooperation Department, will assist to the extent possible to the regulation of exchange programme procedures.

The participants of the meeting showed a great interest in the presented topic; the meeting was summed up with discussions and question and answer session.

To conclude, the lecturers referred to the cooperative framework they have, jointly discussed how that communication would effectively be moved to the credit mobility platform.
