KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

February 19 is marked in Armenia as Book Presenting Day. Today, the Faculty of Primary Education organized a number of events to mark the occasion. 

A small collection of books was donated to the ASPU Library upon the initiative of the Chair of Armenian Language and its Teaching Methods. Also, the students and lecturers of the Faculty had prepared a pleasant surprise for the pupils of School N57. They visited the school taking with them collections of Armenian folktales for the schoolchildren. As a sign of gratitude, the pupils recited verses and passages from “All-Armenian poet” Hovhannes Tumanyan.

The day was encapsulated in the motto, “Instead of urging children to read books, donate them books!”
