KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On April 19, an international online conference entitled "Language and Society" was held upon the initiative of the Chair of Romance-Germanic Languages of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Students of the faculties of Journalism, Geology and Philology of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, University of Valladolid (Spain), Artsakh State University, Gavar State University and Armenian State Pedagogical University participated in the conference which focused on languages and culture, social-cultural concept of communication, intercultural communication, the Internet language, political discourse, IT, etc.

In her speech, Professor Elena Mkhitaryan, stressed that it is important to increase students' interest in science and technology, reveal their potential at an early age and participate in various scientific events.

The participants say the conference gave them an opportunity to share knowledge on the use of modern information and communication technologies (ICT), and create opportunities for further cooperation.
