Introducing the ASPU Internationalisation Practice

The Pedagogical University hosted an awareness raising event with staff members of Departments of International Cooperation of twenty universities; during the event all the accomplishments and challenges that Armenia overcame within the scope of the Erasmus+ mobility programme were discussed.

The Head of the ASPU Department of International Cooperation Ms. Christina Tsaturyan presented the University’s international processes and initiatives in the course of the recent six years, including the exchange of experience in the sphere of international credit mobility exchange programme, relevant achievements and challenges thereof.
Collaboration with the European and the US higher educational institutions, TEMPUS, Erasmus+ projects, as well as mobility programmes and a number of other joint educational initiatives, etc.; these are the international processes, where the Pedagogical University has already made tangible accomplishments.

In addition, Ms. Christina Tsaturyan highlighted the importance of “internationalisation in the country”, also referring to the “Summer School” international project organised by the ASPU, where dozens of students from partnering foreign universities participate.

The Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Office in Armenia Lana Karlova highlighted the importance of such format of meeting for representatives of Departments of International Cooperation, mentioning that it was a great collaboration, where the opinion and contribution of each and every was indeed important.
Last but not least, during the meeting the presentation of the Erasmus+ BOOST Capacities building ECTS guidelines in Armenian language also took place.
