KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Within the scope of the 100th anniversary of establishment of the Pedagogical University and guided by the slogan “365 days with pupils and teachers”, we continue with visits to the schools of Yerevan.

In this light, the high importance of university-school connection was discussed at secondary school N194 after Armen Hovhannisyan. The ASPU Vice -Rector for Education and Science Mariam Ispiryan, the Dean of the Faculty of Art Education Ara Hakobyan, together with the Faculty and students visited this school.

All those present at this event were introduced with the history and operations of the Faculty, the specializations and departments offered therein, as well as a number of publications prepared by the professoriate of this Faculty.

Furthermore, the Faculty of Art Education organized an exhibition of creations, including paintings and decorative-applied pieces of art by its students of different years.

The visit was wrapped up by a festive concert performed by the students of the Music Department of the same Faculty, which once again re-affirmed the strong links and relations between the educational institutions and a wide scope of further cooperation opportunities.
