Introducing the Scopus System

The Associate Professor of the ASPU Faculty of Special Education, Chair of Logopaedics and Rehabilitation Therapy, Author of a number of articles in the Scopus system Tigran Petrosyan made a report on the subject of “How to print an article in periodicals quoted in Scopus”.

The Associate Professor noticed that on the requirements of the Supreme Certification Committee at least 6 scientific articles are required for the Candidate dissertation defence two of which must be without any co-author, or 3 scientific articles, including at least one article included in one of the publications in the web of science or scopus databases.

We would also like to mention that the Scopus is a system which includes a number of highly ranked and indexed magazines. Likewise, the speaker thoroughly explained to the auditorium how to search for the magazines in the system, spoke about the standards of printing articles, correct selection of magazines and other issues.

“The articles published in the Scopus system have a high rating, while publishing articles in magazines is a rather difficult task; they are strictly reviewed by independent specialists”, mentioned Tigran Petrosyan, adding that articles in the sphere of pedagogy are particularly passive in the Scopus system.
