KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A joint concert organized within the framework of cooperation between the Chair of Music of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) and Yerevan Special Music School №13 was held on April 30.

By playing multiple instruments (trumpet, clarinet, kanoon, piano, flute and duduk) students and pupils performed works by Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Gioachino Rossini, Khachatur Avetisyan, Konstantin Petrosian, Arno Babajanyan and other famous composers.

The second part of the concert featured the brass bands of the two educational institutions, led by artistic directors and conductors Tigran Lalayan and Kolya Martirosyan. The orchestras also performed together "Hayastan" (Armenia) song.

Let us remind that ASPU and Yerevan Special Music School №13 signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) back in 2024 under which the parties organize joint events, visits and discussions.
