From April 14 to May 14, 3 PhD students of the Chair of Special Pedagogy at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University will conduct research at the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).
The students have chosen Associate Professor of the Chair of Logopaedics and Rehabilitation Therapy Zhanna Paylozyan as their academic supervisor. As a matter of fact, this practice was applied at the ASPU last year as well.
During the meeting with the Kazakh guests, ASPU Vice-Rector for Education and Science Mariam Ispiryan presented the history of the University, its activities in the science and education sectors and touched upon the works that are being carried out for research and the academic publications.
The Vice-Rector emphasized that the Armenian State Pedagogical University is the only educational institution in Armenia that prepares special pedagogues in the university system and in a number of areas of psychology. She assured that, during the Kazakh researchers’ visit, the University is ready to introduce them to the features of the educational institution and foster effective implementation of their academic activities within the university system.
The Kazakh guests expressed the desire to learn about Armenia’s education system, the University’s educational programs in more detail and voiced hope that the academic activities being carried out at the ASPU and the scheduled studies will help them enrich and revise their researches.
