Today, the Last bell rang at the secondary schools of the country, including the ASPU Base College which released its 24th graduates.
One hundred pupils from five flows were the first graduates of the 12-year educational system and of the country marking the 100th anniversary of establishment of its First Republic of Armenia.
Filled with excitement and pride at the same time, the pupils bid farewell to their educational centre, promising to keep high the honour of their native school.
The graduates expressed words of gratitude to their teachers in poems, acknowledgment speeches, musical and dance performances and assured that they learned the value and price of struggle and victory in their college.
Likewise, they are assured that upon the end of their school biography they are ready to enter the new life as proud and dignified person, full of new expectations, hope and anticipations. They confessed that the three years spent at the college had been like a lighthouse for them that had taught them that there could be no difficulties when there was will.
The students agreed that they were more mature and conscious now to understand the advice given by the teachers, to realise it and to be guided thereby.
“Being humane, honest, dignified, thinking individually, having hope and belief even out of smallest victories; these are the everlasting companions of the road of justice”, the students highlighted these messages and spoke out for the youth to wide open its doors to meet the first generation of the republic that was celebrating its 100th anniversary.
The future journalists, psychologists, painters, natural scientists, and linguists are following their dream and give a promise right on the stage not to crawl and not to fall in front of anything, in one word to stay human.
On behalf of the University’s Rector’s office, the Vice-Rector of Srbouhi Gevorgyan congratulated the pupils and wished them good luck first of all expressing acknowledgements to the parents for linking their children’s destiny with the APSU college in terms of obtaining education, as well as thanked the managing body and teachers of the college for passing on their professional skills and abilities to pupils and for taking care of them.
In her turn, the Director of the college Ms. Naira Safaryan congratulated all graduates of the current year, thanking them for successfully passing all challenges and experiments implied by the 12 year secondary education system.
Similarly, Ms. Naira Safaryan was proud that the army of graduates of the college was added with another hundred, just as much as the history of this educational centre was enriched with their success and accomplishments.
“Dear graduates, I know that you have numerous juvenile dreams, thus, I am calling for all of you to go for the fulfilment of your inmost dreams with festive mood and determination”, added the Director of the college Ms. Naira Safaryan.
“Today, once again the festive celebration of the Last Bell proves that the graduates of this year also realise that this is not the end, but the beautiful start of something new. And called for their followers, as today’s young people standing on the threshold of youth, to keep the honour of the college and to form its fresh history with great pride and new accomplishments.
