“Last Bell” Rang at the ASPU Base College

Today, the 12th grade students of the ASPU Base (High School) College celebrated their “Last Bell” graduation ceremony which was already the 22nd at the College.

On this occasion, the graduation ceremony was launched in an unusual way; with the slogan “Remember and Demand” all those present held a moment of silence and read the Lord’s Prayers expressing tribute to the victims of the four-day war of April.

The last lesson and performance of 106 graduates of Humanitarian (psychology, journalism), Cultural (painting), and Natural Sciences- Mathematics streams was held in a festive environment.

The students of the college passed their cordial greetings, memories of happy and careless years at the college, acknowledgement and congratulation words from the “professional islands”; “unique in its kind, the best in Yerevan, Armenia and in the whole world”, this is what the students assured of with their performances, positive and funny videos, and confessions.

The celebration was summarized with songs and dances jointly performed by the students of all streams.
At the end of the celebration the Director of the ASPU Base (High-School) College Naira Safaryan first of all passed congratulation from the Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan after which expressed her warm greetings and best wishes to all graduating students of Armenia, the Diaspora, Artsakh and Javakhck.

“This beautiful day is memorable also for us as we are proudly seeing one more generation off to the grown-up life, a generation to whom we passed our knowledge and skills. Dear graduates, you are now standing on the threshold of the most responsible stage of your life. I know that you have plenty of juvenile dreams, thus, I call for all of you to step towards the fulfillment of those dreams with the gained knowledge, festive mood and determination. I wish that you never be in need of a ring-buoy when sailing through the life”, said the Director and passed her gratefulness for the peaceful morning to the Armenian soldiers, among whom there were 100 graduates of the College, and who were proudly paying their duty on the frontline.

In his turn, the graduate of the sub-stream of Psychology Hrachya Tepansoyan is convinced that life is developing and on each phase it is possible to build up the following one.

“I am happy for having a chance to study in this very institution where each teacher accepted and understood us with our advantages and disadvantages, and did not slay our kind. We learnt a lot during these years, however, summing up, I need to mention that the most important was the message of being kind- a feature which is greatly needed by the humanity”,Hrachya mentioned in his interview to the old.aspu.am and added that for that very reason he decided to continue education at the ASPU and choose the profession in Social Sciences.
Furthermore, the President of the Studnet Council of the Base (High-School) College Norayr Shoghikyan made the summary of the three academic

years mentioning how exciting and fervent they were.
“Ineffaceable days and deep knowledge that was impossible to achieve in any other educational institution. The atmosphere which was formulated here, mutual love of students and pupils were simply “forcing” to study”.
Likewise, the students were congratulated in the name of parents by the ASPU Head of the Chair of Chess and Sports, Grand Master Smbat Lputyan.

“This is a second that becomes the dearest and memorable in our life. It is a new opportunity of making new steps in life, fulfilling our aspirations and dreams, it is an important moment that will urge us to learn a lot in life, will help to pass certain path, to serve and to be useful to the society and public”.

Smbat Lputyan wished to the students to turn around, to be joyful and do kind things building up the country and making it more prosperous, to serve to the nation and to be happy in that service.
