“Last Lesson” at the ASPU base and high schools

The ASPU Base College has been celebrating the “Last Bell” for already 23rd time. The educational establishment that has formed the best traditions throughout years sent off 112 graduates to life.

The last lesson and performance of the students of the final year of Humanities (psychology, journalism) and Culture (painting, natural sciences-mathematics) flows passed in a festive and warm atmosphere as always.

“We need teachers so that we don’t get lost in life,” the key message heralding the end of the school days and the new beginning of life.

The students of the college made an acknowledgements speech, once again recalled their years at this educational institution, and analysed the learning processes, as well as, for the last time asked for apologies for actions that they did not make, assuring that they were taking the best traditions and human features inherited from school to the great life.

In reply to the rhetoric question, why they chose this college, the students said, “If there was another decision to be made regarding an educational establishment, the choice would still be the same.”

This is the place that has become a friend in a short period, where it was possible to receive care, knowledge, ability to love and praise the homeland all at the same time.

“We are thankful for educating patriot children and citizens. We are proud that the students of tomorrow will also appreciate all that Armenian soldiers at the frontline are doing today. All that we have today is thanks to your dedicated work and encouraging words. You might not know but you have always been a source of inspiration for us. All that you taught to us, and all that we are taking today is called love”.

At the mysterious intersection of dreams and objectives festive songs, dances and performances were presented.

“You can do anything; the future belongs to those who believe in the realisation of their aims and objectives. Wherever we occur, we will stay good persons; the proof thereof is the history of the college, the taught lessons, our path and success. We are bidding farewell with the belief that we will remember and will be remembered”, the college students summarized the festive celebration.

At the end of the celebration, the Director of the ASPU Base College Naira Safaryan first of all passed over the City Mayor Taron Margaryan’s acknowledgment message and conveyed his warm wishes to all graduates living in Armenia, in the Diaspora, Artsakh, and Javakhck.

“We are having a celebration today; it is already the 23rd time that we are sending of the new generation and are proud with them. I confess that these three years were not easy ones, but I would still like to express particular gratitude to the pupils, who tried their best to create less issues. I am assured that they would fill in the lines of our graduates that are today holding high positions in the Republic of Armenia. With their success and behaviour, they enriched and continue to strengthen the history of the college.

The Director of the College noticed that the teachers’ calls, that would often substitute the students’ alarm clocks, would no longer be there; “From now one you are your own alarm clocks.”

Likewise, Naira Safaryan expressed her hope that the care and dedication demonstrated by the teachers would serve them as an example when fulfilling their mission.

“The Last Lesson” was held at the ASPU Base School N57; the last bell ringing for the 9th grade students symbolized the end of a beautiful story wishing them to set off to a bright and clear future.

During the event the students expressed acknowledgements, made musical and humour performances. “We have contributed dedication and cordiality, educated worthy citizens. Today symbolizes a new beginning, the high –school is waiting for you ahead,” said the Director of the school Naira Toghanyan and congratulated the students.
