On May 24, the traditional “Last Lesson” was held at the ASPU Primary School. Sincere emotions and confessions, words of gratitude and warm wishes were heard throughout the event.
The school-leavers expressed their gratitude from the stage and asked their teachers to put their marks not in the register but in their souls.
Elementary school pupils, who had come to farewell the ninth formers, promised to maintain the good traditions of their senior friends, uphold the good reputation of the school and the great love for education.
The pupils confessed that they had spent the best period of their teenage years at the primary school and advised the junior pupils to enjoy the carefree years at school. They handed the symbolic bells to them as a sign of generation change.
School Principal Naira Toghoyan is proud to send dignified citizens to a new adult life. She says each of them is an individual who has a unique way of thinking and unique position.
“The teaching staff of the school has done everything possible to educate worthy citizens and humans in the first place. I wish them to be able to surmount all difficulties on their way and have great achievements in life,” she said.
Class teacher Mary Babayan, who worked with the school-leavers in the past five years, says five years ago they were as intelligent, honest and purposeful as they are today.
“I am sending them to the next phase of life with pride and confidence. I am proud that they have become dignified citizens and I am sure that they will stay faithful the values and merits we adopted together: they will always demonstrate responsibility and principled approach,” she said.
