Today, the Pedagogical University summarized the series of lectures organized within the framework of international conference headed “Life and Philosophy” dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of the world-famous philosopher, Academician Georg Brutyan.
The lecture on the topic of “Methodological Significance of Devine Revelation from Historical Perspective” was presented by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Leader of International Studies of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Hungary) Balazh Mezey.
The latter introduced the understanding and perception of the term “divine revelation” in his lecture, accompanied by his own philosophical observations and studies related thereto.
Likewise, the Professor mentioned that he had drafted a special methodology in relation to the topic which aimed at disclosing a number of theories, as well as developing various processes connected with science, history, cultural events.
In addition, Balazh Mezey highlighted that the perspectives had been more comprehensively reflected in his authored book “Extreme Revelation” which has a historical, philosophical and theological meanings.
“In that piece of work ideas of the world’s outstanding philosophers are quoted; this is a step towards knowing human beings better and making them even more perfect through theory”.
A few days ago, within the scope of international lectures the Professor of Philosophy of the Innsbruck University (Austria), President of the
International Progress Organization, Co-Chairman of the International Academy of Philosophy Hans Kochler delivered a report at the Pedagogical University within the scope of the intentional lectures.
Within the scope of the topic “Normative Concepts in International Law; Conclusions for Philosophy of Law” the Professor spoke about the necessity to discuss contradictions existing in legal norms of important international institutions, observations thereabout, and damages caused or to be yet caused.
To conclude, the professor reviewed the legal norms on self-determination of states and nations within the scope of philosophy, as well as their territorial integrity, particularly after the Second World War, and highlighted that nowadays the principle of the winner’s monopoly and the loser’s subjection existed.
