The professoriate and the studnets of the Pedagogical University, as well as the teaching staff and the pupils of the ASPU secondary and high schools joined the march to the Tsitsernakaberd memorial this year.
It is noteworthy that this year the foreign participants of the international conference headed “Psychological Issues; characteristics, classification and diagnosis principles”, world-famous scientists also joined the crowded march from the Pedagogical. Together with the ASPU students they laid a wreath on the Armenian Genocide Memorial, paid a tribute and kept a minute of silence as a commemoration of 1.5 million victims in the Ottoman Empire in 1915-1923.
“Non-condemned genocide gives birth to new genocides”, “No to all kinds of crime against humanity”, “Recognition, Condemnation, Compensation” and other similar demanding content could be read on posters displayed by the future pedagogues, calling for recognition and justice.
