KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The 9th of May holiday celebrates the victory over Fascism in the Great Patriotic War, the Shushi Liberation day, as well as the day of establishment of the Defense Army of Artsakh.

This year too, the professoriate of the Pedagogical University and the students lead by Rector Rouben Mirzakhanyan joined the marching organized on the Freedom and Peace Day. At first, they laid a wreath at the monument located in the University territory for the everlasting memory of the Artsakh heroes, after which they went to the Victory Park.

Later on, the ASPU students laid another wreath at the eternal fire and bent their heads to keep a minute of silence for the memory of the deceased.
The participants of the march for the Victory and Peace Holiday shared opinions that the crowded march organized annually by the university is a good occasion to praise the former glorious victories and to celebrate new ones.
