The President of the “Association of Audio-Visual Journalists” NGO Arzuman Harutyunyan and the Head of Public Relations Department of “Synopsis Armenia” Gayanei Markosyan organized a master class session with the ASPU students of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology.
The meeting was arranged by the joint efforts of the Dean of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology Rouzanna Petrosyan and the Student Council.
The master class on the topics of “Journalists as the bearers of social issues” and “Prevention of Human Trafficking or Exploitation with the Help of Social Advertisement” was conducted by the President of the “Association of Audio-Visual Journalists” NGO, Producer, Specialist of Social Advertisement Arzuman Harutyunyan.
The latter introduced the audience with the full process of creating a social advertisement on trafficking starting from the occurrence of the idea, correct cooperation with customers, terms and symbols up till the broadcast of the advertisement. During the meeting, the students step by step discussed all the peculiarities of dissemination of the term trafficking through social advertisement, as well as skillful coverage and prevention thereof.
Moreover, a more detailed discussion was made regarding the term “trafficking”; the following words were jointly formed together with students- recruitment, transportation, transfer, hiding, obtention, exploitation; and besides, there was a video presentation on types of human trafficking and possible reasons of occurrence, and last but not least, the received knowledge was summarized emphasizing the methods and kinds of awareness raising.
Various videos presented during the lecture, which have been shot by the “Audio-Visual” throughout different years, turned into discussions and analysis.
