According to already formed tradition, the Rector of the Pedagogical University Rouben Mirzakhanyan had a meeting with the final year students of the University’s several Faculties on the threshold of the final qualification examinations.
The Rector introduced the novelties of the qualification exams, replied to the students’ questions. The changes particularly referred to the questions in pedagogy from the previous years which have been exchanged with the pedagogical internship scores this year; he also discussed the electronic form of examinations: last year in three, and this year already in all ten Faculties the qualification examinations will be held electronically. In Rector’s opinion such an approach will contribute to assessing students’ answers in a more objective way, as well as to finding out the score on the spot.
This year too, professional and other relevant assisting literature and dictionaries will be available at the examination rooms, which the students can use when preparing.
“The Committee members will ensure a quite atmosphere for preparation and answering; the examination process should take place without tension”, assured Rouben Mirzakhanyan and called for the students to believe in and trust only their own forces.
Likewise, the Rector mentioned that the process of the qualification examinations would be open for all those who express interest in being present and listening to students’ answers. At the end of the meeting Rouben Mirzakhanyan wished good luck to the students and assured that those having excellent academic progress would permanently be in the centre of the University’s attention and in future would receive an opportunity to work at the native University.
During the meeting the lecturer of the Chair of Informatics and its Teaching Methods Samvel Asatryan introduced those present with the new electronic examination forms.
Another meeting for the graduating students is also planned for tomorrow.
