KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

From 9 - 10 October, coordination meetings were held in Brussels, Belgium, within the framework of TEMPUS ESPAQ /Enhancing student participation in quality assurance (QA) in Armenian Higher Education/.

The group of participants consisted of the ASPU Vice – Rector for Educational Processes, Head of Academic Department Hasmik Araqelyan, Deputy - Head of Department of International Cooperation, Specialist Raisa Avetyan, President of Student Council Nersik Margaryan as well as student of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology Misha Tadevosyan.

In the course of the meetings in Brussels, a draft manual about involvement of students in quality assurance processes was discussed together with outcomes of visits of students and staff of partner universities, and wrap-up conference organization details.

Students, involved in the project, also participated in group discussions, where a reference was made on increasing student’s involvement in the implementation of quality assurance processes in higher educational institutions.
