More diplomas handed over at ASPU

Congratulations, wishes and words of thanks… More diplomas have been handed out at ASPU today.

Deans and professors of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography, and the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics congratulated graduates of the two faculties on the occasion and offered their best wishes for their new life journey.

This year, the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography has 75 graduates: 30 undergraduates, 17 MA students and 28 students taking a distance learning course. Fifteen of them received Diplomas with Honours.

"You are saying goodbye to your Alma Mater. You are ready to fulfill the responsible and honorable mission of a pedagogue, to educate future generations. Time shows the result of teachers’ work and efforts. You are the ones who will replace us, and the ones who will replace you are those whom you are going to educate tomorrow", Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry, and Geography Ruzanna Sadoyan said congratulating the graduates on the memorable day and wishing them to go ahead and realize their dreams, goals and plans, as well as an opportunity to live and create under a peaceful and secure sky.

Professor Samvel Pipoyan, Head of the Chair of Biology, Chemistry and their Teaching Methods, considered the ceremony to be a kind of summary of the years of study, and said it will allow the graduates to have their rightful place in the labour market.

He advised the graduates to take a master’s degree program at ASPU too, assuring them that it will provide an opportunity to deepen and strengthen the abilities and professional skills acquired at university.

Acting Head of the Chair of Ecology and Sustainable Development Sirine Shogheryan is sure that tomorrow the graduates will remember the most important period of their lives as the best years. She advised the graduates to treat their profession with great responsibility and said the doors of the Pedagogical University are open to them.

Lectures of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics also congratulated the graduates wishing them success in solving various problems in the professional field and personal happiness
They assured the graduating students that the teaching staff of the Pedagogical University is always ready to support its alumni and help them develop both personally and professionally.


A state cannot exist without education, and there cannot be a strong state without science education," Dean of the Faculty Gagik Demirkhanyan said congratulating the graduates on the occasion of completing an important stage their lives.

This year, the Faculty has 140 graduates: 63 BA students, 26 MA students, and 28 students taking a distance learning course. Thirty-four students graduated with honours.

Congratulating the graduates, Head of the ASPU Scientific Library Tigran Petrosyants wished that they prove with their abilities that they deserve to be students of an educational institution that bears the name of the great Armenian Enlightener (Gregor Illuminator).

Along with the diplomas, the latter gave the graduates symbolic booklets about Khachatur Abovyan's activity and Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, and wished them happiness and success.
The graduates thanked their Alma Mater, promising to remain faithful to the noble title of a teacher.
