This year, the Faculty of Art Education has 153 graduates. Sixty-two of them will receive diplomas of excellence.
Ara Hakobyan, Dean of the Faculty of Art Education, congratulated the graduates, already his junior colleagues, on behalf of the teaching staff.
"I still remember the first steps many of you made in your field of profession. Now, with the same joy and enthusiasm, I see all of you as accomplished specialists. Our biggest mission is to see educators in your ranks who will successfully educate and upbring the next generations. I long to meet many of you as accomplished artists, educators and to have that sense of pride that you studied at this university," Ara Hakobyan said and urged the future educators to maintain strong ties with the university; that will be important and effective for both sides.
There was also a festive atmosphere in the Faculty of Philology as well This year, the Fcaulty has 57 bachelor's and 14 master's degree graduates, with 17 of them starting their career in various educational institutions of the country with a diploma with honours. Heads of the Chairs congratulated the graduates, wishing them a bright future.
Dean of the Faculty Ashot Galstyan wished the future teachers success in their activity. “No matter where you go or work, uphold the good name of an Armenian teacher and the Pedagogical University!” he said.
Tatev Tamrazyan, who is graduating from the university with outstanding academic achievement, is proud of and grateful to her Alma Mater. Karlen Nazaryan, who will work at the secondary school of Movses village in Tavush region, added that the Faculty of Philology ‘has given him strong wings to walk steadily and have a say in the field of pedagogy.’
The graduates of the two faculties are sure that they have chosen one of the best professions, which is also a calling to educate and nurture generations that will ensure the future of our Homeland.
