Gayane Heboyan, Associate Professor at Armenian State Pedagogical University, has been working at the Chair of Music of the same University for 30 years.
Recently, she has added a new achievement to her numerous awards and prizes. Thanks to her fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity, her name has been included in the international encyclopedia "Best in Education".
The names of some 15000 people from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia have been included in the new edition of the encyclopedia. All these people have had significant contribution to education, culture, art, sports and other spheres and continue to work with the same vigor and devotion.
The encyclopedia provides information about Gayane Heboyan’s life, pedagogical and creative activity. The encyclopedia reveals the success and achievements of devotees in different spheres.
In conversation with old.aspu.am, Gayane Heboyan confessed that it was a great honor for her to see her name in a book which also provides information about world-famous Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian.
Speaking about her 30-year activity at ASPU, the Associate Professor said that every day she enters the audience with the desire to teach and learn something new. “We have many talented young people who participate in competitions and uphold the reputation of Armenian music art, as well as the honour of ASPU and teachers in general. Every great achievement gives me a new breath in my work,” she added.
She is proud to add that her graduates of different years are now working at music schools, and remain loyal to the origins of national musical art.
Speaking about the international encyclopedia once again, Gayane Heboyan said her new achievement will make her exert more efforts, work with new rhythm and aspiration to ensure that the “lecturer-pedagogical” chain has new achievements and success.
