Today, the 4th year students of the Philological Faculty, under the initiative of the President of the Writers’ Union, Lecturer of the Chair of Russian Literature Abgar Apinyan, made a

visit to the cemetery of Samson Ter-Poghosyan, (also known as Khent) to pay him a tribute of respect; the cemetery has been located in churchyard of St. Gayane Church, in Etchmiadzin since 1991.
The students were also accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty Yury Davtyan, Hasmik Sahakyan- the Head of the Office of Armenian Language and Literature named after A.Abrahamyan, and the Director of the Scientific Library Tigran Petrosyants.
The latter, in his turn, thoroughly told the students about Khent, and Makhlouto going out close to him.
In addition, Tigran Petrosyants also spoke about Catholicos Yezr, explained the concepts of common and multiple faith.
Besides, Abgar Apinyan felt a pity to notice was that Armenia was in need of patriots only; we had lawyers, economists, and other specialists, but not patriots.

Moreover, the latter also turned to the students with the following, “I strongly emphasize the presence of future experts in literature and philologists here today.
Swear, swear silently, without loud and thunderous words, swear by praying with in purest corners of your hearts that you will stay true to the covenant for which these saint persons lived and passed away. I deeply desire that the coming generation be the generation of lionhearted patriots”.
In addition, the students also heard the parables of Deacon Vahe calling them not to bend on knee at the difficulties and hardship of life.
Upon their return, the students received the blessing of the Priest at St. Gayanei Church and then moved to the Holly See of Etchmiadzin.
