Exclusive Encyclopedia Especially for Pedagogues

General concepts of special pedagogy, logaoedics, tiflopedagogy, oligophrenopedagogy, pedagogy for the deaf- the “Encyclopedia on Special Education” containing the aforementioned sections and corresponding definitions was published on the 90th anniversary of the Pedagogical University.
 
The encyclopedia will give an opportunity to teachers, pedagogues, and parents to find the answers to question which are of interest to them, as well as to receive necessary information on correct and effective organization of educatory and corrective pedagogical activities.
 
The encyclopedia is intended for professionals in the sphere of education, healthcare, social affairs, for the staff of pedagogical universities, vocational institutions, students, as well as for training of pedagogical resources and qualification specialists, and for parents of children in need of special conditions for upbringing and education.
 
The book also introduces the terms that represent the theoretical, practical content of “Special Pedagogy” and “Psychology”, the connection of scientific knowledge on human beings with different spheres, such as pedagogy, medicine and psychology. 
 
“Within the context of the RA State Strategy, the complex reforms in the sphere of education are aimed at the protection and healthcare of the future generation, their teaching –educational process improvement. Today, children with development disabilities are educated and taught; it is quite important for such specialists to be well informed of both psychological-physical peculiarities and issues on education and care,” the Head of Special Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, editor of the “Encyclopedia of Special Education” Robert Azaryan mentioned.
 
Authors of materials published in the encyclopedia are leading specialists of special pedagogy and psychology, doctors- professors.
 
Let us also mention, that besides general information about special pedagogy, the encyclopedia also includes some information on related sciences - pedagogy, psychology, anatomy, physiology, clinical medicine, sociology, legal science.
 

And finally, the encyclopedia also includes biographical data about a number of former soviet and foreign figures of the fields of special pedagogy and psychology.
