“The young political figure may be successful and serve for his nation only in case he has exceptional love and devotion towards his country. We must learn about those who
deserve to practice the art of teaching due to their life and lifestyle.” The Dean of the Philological Faculty of the Pedagogical University, Doctor of Philological Sciences Yuri Davtyan in this way characterized the Vice President of the RA National Assembly, graduate of the Pedagogical University Eduard Sharmazanov.
The latter, in his turn replied,” Despite everything each and every person always returns to the environment that is native to him/her. The Pedagogical University formulated my outlook making me a responsible citizen of RA.”
In the native University the politician referred to issues which interest the young, to geographical developments and the policy the Republic of Armenia runs within this context.
While speaking about today’s independent generation and the higher educational system in RA, Sharmazanov mentioned, “The young are the future of the generation; in order to be compatible, it is important to struggle and to go on learning and educating themselves. The RA young people should realize that their first enemies are mediocrity and laziness.
They need to think several steps forward; luckily, today universities are much more developed and give them such opportunities.”
In addition, the follower of Nzhdeh’s ideas urges not to blame others for their own sins but rather to recall the famous words of the great philosopher and to look for solutions of problems in themselves.
Vardan Mamikonyan, Smbat Bagratuni, Gevorg Chaush, Nikol Duma, Hrayr Dzhokhq- Eduard Sharmazanov enumerates the national heroes one by one thus reminding the youth of the price of independence.
“The person who always complains of his/ her fatherland, suffers from the sickness of soul”, he quoted Garegin Nzhdeh’s words and urged to be proud of being Armenian and having an independent country. “We must love our fatherland with deeds and actions; we have the luck to be independent citizens of the RA; and that is the biggest vocation of every Armenian”, Eduard Sharmazanov added.
Moreover, speaking about the instabilities in the whole region, the NA Vice President analyzed the political condition of a variety of countries dealing with the RA.
Besides, Sharmazanov focused major importance on the ability of the Armenian youth to become politicians calling for them to walk parallel and not to lag behind the world. “We must understand what we really need and avoid making any emotional steps. We also need to safely come out of various countries’ contradictions and to create our state interest.”
More to the point, speaking about the Nagorno Karabakh- Azerbaijan relations, Sharmazanov clarified the following, “Most of us do not even realize, that today Armenia is at an unannounced war. We need to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. Our neighbouring country has a serious problem of self-establishment. The Aliev junior, who is in petrodollar dizziness, demonstrates serious manifestation of fascism. While we, in order to advocate what is our national, must use all the possible variants up to spreading information in social networks.”
And last but not least, by the end of the lecture Eduard Sharmazanov urged students not to complain of their fatherland, on the contrary – to recognize and love it.
