“High-quality Teaching of Russian is of Strategic Importance”

Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted on December 7 Head of the Armenian Office of Rossotrudnichestvo Victor Krivapuskov. APSU Rector, Doctor of Historical

 Sciences, Professor RoubenMirzakhanyan handed over MrKrivapuskova gold-plated medal symbolizing the 90th anniversary of the University. 
 
 
Addressing the guest, MrMirzakhanyansaid, “You are known, respected and loved not only in the Pedagogical University but also in the entire republic. Armed with deep knowledge about the Armenian culture, you sincerely love Armenia and its people. With your direct participation, the educational process in Armenia has entered a new phase of development, therebystrengthening the relations between the Armenian and Russian peoples.”
 
 
RoubenMirzakhanyanunderlined again that the Pedagogical University attaches great importance to the cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo, and the high-quality teaching of Russian Language and Literature at Armenian schools has a strategic importance for the development of our country.
 
 

For his part, Victor Krivapuskov again congratulated the University on its 90th anniversary, saying, “I am glad to see the Pedagogical University and its students with a new “feature” and changes.
 
 
 
The University is rich in numerous traditions, and today it has entered a stormy period of development. I am confident that our work will enter
a new phase, providing new, mutually beneficial cooperation.”
 
 
 
In the name of Russia’s leading company [Rossotrudnichestvo], which has established cooperation and friendship with Armenia,MrKrivapuskovpresented the newly-opened museum of the Pedagogical University a Valery Bryusov medal and diploma.
 
 
 
ASPU Rector RoubenMirzakhanyan, Head of the Chair of Russian and Foreign Literature, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor RuzanTadevosyan, and lecturer of the Chair of Russian Language, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Inna Sargsyan were awarded with Valery Bryusovmedal for their great contribution to the development of cultural and humanitarian links between the Armenian and Russian peoples.
