The Student Council of the Pedagogical University visited Marie Izmilian Orphanage on the even of Christmas holidays.
The visit organized in collaboration with the Youth Organization of the Republican Party of Armenia aimed to convey a happy and festive mood to the children of the orphanage.
With their joyful performances, Armenian pop singers Vardan Badalyan, Dalita and Narek Avetisyan, graduate of the Pedagogical University Margarita Gabrielyan, participants of the Junior Eurovision Lusine Ghazaryan, Karapet Karapetyan and Nerses Avetisyan made the day unforgettable for the children.
At the end of the event, the Student Council donated stationery items children with special needs.
Impressed by the event, Master’s degree student of the Faculty of Special Education and the compère of the concert, Lusine Piroyan said, “Each of us has a definite mission in this life. I think that my mission is to help children and give them joyful moments.”
The Student Council regularly organizes charity visits to orphanages, retirement homes and military units.
