Practice” arranged within the framework of the 90th anniversary of the University.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference, the University Chancellor Rouben Mirzakhanyan greeted the guest, wished them good luck and said, “This conference has its particular role and meaning within the course of activities arranged on the 90th anniversary of our University. Currently, an idea is vigorously rooting in us to become the Research University without which it will be impossible to imagine high school development perspectives. Years on, education has been of academic nature in our country; now there is a diversity of new requirements and approaches. The vast majority of topics of reports at conferences are actual and interesting. moreover, they are not at all extracted from the reality.”

In addition, Rouben Mirzakhanyan added that despite the fact that the Pedagogical was actively involved in a number of international projects, the ongoing reforms would have been incomplete, inefficient and unrealistic if national peculiarities and the rich traditions of the national school had not been taken into consideration.
Further on, the Honourary Chairman of the Organizational Committee, the RA NAS academician, the Head of the International Research Institute of Methaphilosophy, Transformational Logic and Theory of Argumentation Gevorg Brutyan assured that such conferences would assist that the future academicians and professors be the Pedagogical graduates.
At the plenary session the Acting Professor of the University Department of Professional Education and Applied Pedagogy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Shoghik Voskanyan introduced her report on the subject “Experience and Educational Traditions of the Western –Armenian Schools in the Process of the National School Development”.
Later on, referring to the second half of the nineteenth century, Shoghik Voskanyan mentioned that the Western-Armenian schools and culture had been led by the concept new

teachers for new schools and made an educational reform, and in that way the fundamentals of the new school and new pedagogical education had gradually been developed.
“Answers to a great number of unsolved matters in the currently improving educational process should be searched among the old schools and the scientific and enlightening activities of the prominent cultural figures, as well as in their rich literary, journalistic, methodological and pedagogical heritage”, the pedagogue advised.
Afterwards, the Dean of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Srbouhi Gevorgyan delivered her report on the subject “Psychological Abilities of Person’s Self-Realization in the Innovation Crisis Conditions”.
The latter spoke about the social-psychological adaptation process of human beings living in the third millennium and mentioned that depending on common social changes, the psychological atmosphere of the transition phase of development and the new social conditions generate “innovation shock”.
“The innovations which penetrated into the social life are noticeable not only for their expanded scale, sudden and rapid progress, but also for their harmful impact. As a result, a person really gets rid of the stereotypes formed in the past, but is unwilling to perceive the innovative changes and accordingly loses the meaning and the importance of the future,” Srbouhi Gevorgyan mentioned.
More to the point, she thoroughly explained the psychological mechanisms and expressed hope that they would help to overcome the innovation impact on the educational system and to bring a person to the self-realization process.”
