New Theoretical and Practical Approaches within the Conference Fields

The first field of the conference was opened with the reports on the new theoretical and practical approaches of psychology, philosophy and sociology; the co-Chairman in this field

 were the RA NAS Academician, the Chairman of the International Academy of Philosophy, the Head of the International Research Institute of Methaphilosophy, Transformational Logic and Argumentation Theory under the ASPU Gevorg Brutyan, the Acting Head of the Department of Sociology and Social Work, PhD in Social Sciences, Professor Yura Gasparyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology, PhD in Psychological Sciences, Professor Srbouhi Gevorgyan.  
 
 
First of all, the Pedagogical University Head of the Department of Development and Applied Psychology, PhD in Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Samvel Khoudoyan spoke about morbid gambling, its development stages and overcoming particularly by means of cognitive hypnotherapy. 
 
 
On this issue, Samvel Khoudoyan presented the psychological characteristics of morbid gamblers, their personal features, the medicamental and psychotherapeutic methods of treatment of gamblers.   
 
 

The Head of the Center for Professional Quality Development and Intercollegiate Cooperation, the PhD of Psychological Sciences, Professor Naira Hakobyan mentioned in her report the socio-psychological manifestations of transformational society in the management system. “In our days of transformational society when almost all fields of public life are rapidly marginalized, the transformational type of management is becoming prevailing; this type is holding an interim position between the traditional (soviet) and the new (post-soviet, market) types of management,” Naira Hakobyan mentioned in her report.
 
      
In addition, the latter spoke about the socio-economic and socio-psychological peculiarities of transformational society, about the phenomena of such a society that have positive content, as well as about the professional abilities in the field of education and activities aimed at actualization of capabilities. 
  
 
Afterwards, the Head of the Psychological Research Laboratory, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate

 Professor Vahan Sargsyan introduced in his report the psychological qualitative analysis of the future pedagogues competency in the process of pedagogical practice. 
 
 
“The development of students’ competences in the process of pedagogical practice is conditioned with the development level of their reflexive, team work and cooperation competences,” Vahan Sargsyan noted and concluded that the psychological accompaniment and the discovery of internal links and components is necessary in the abovementioned process.
 
 
The co-Chairmen in the third branch of humanitarian sciences were the RA NAS Associate Member, PhD in Philosophical Sciences, Professor, the Head of the Department of Armenian Literature and its Teaching Methods Aelita Dolukhanyan and the Head of the Department of Armenian History, PhD in Historical Sciences, Professor Mher Karapetyan.    
 
The Chancellor of the Gavar State University, PhD in Law, Associate Professor Ruzanna Hakobyan delivered her report on the topic of “Social Responsibility Institute and its Importance” where she highlighted the concept of responsibility as a component of social institutes. 
 
More to the point, the latter also mentioned that social responsibility is the reality conditioned by the objective necessity of the social and state existence and activities. “It ensures the realization of people’s social coexistence rules, moral value orientation and principles, the fulfillment of the requirement of legal norms, thus, combining the individual, group, public and state benefits.” 
 
 
 
Next in turn, came the report made in the same field by the Applicant of the Department of Armenian History Karo Zhamkharyan on the subject “Educational Establishments in the Syrian-Armenian community in 1920s”. The reporter spoke about the establishment and activities of the state colleges, Armenian Catholic, Armenian Evangelical schools which were opened under the patronage of the Armenian Apostolic Church and community in Syria.
 
 

“In 1920s establishment of Armenian schools in Syria was an important pre-condition for the organization and further development of educational activities. The Armenian schools and churches were the primary clutches for the further preservation of Armenians. The national life was developed due to these two institutions,” the speaker added.  
 
 
Next in turn was Ashot Galstyan, the Head of the Department of Armenian Language and Elementary Teaching Methodology, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, who presented his report on the subject “Linguistic and Stylistic Manifestations of Memoirs to Ghazaros Aghayan”.
 
 
The linguist also stated that in those memoirs, the author was described by a diversity of characteristics such as prominent teacher, children’s friend, plain-spoken, linguist, strapping, forgiving, helpful to the oponent. 
 
 
“Aghayan served as an assessment standard for a whole generation. The portraits dedicated to him are forms of

 memoirs and have a specific linguistic-stylistic structure. Likewise, the quotations of conversations are also extremely impressive and have philological and source study value. Descriptive speech is mainly prevailing in memoires on him, “Ashot Galstyan observed.
 
 
Let us also mention that the reporters in this filed also referred to antic and biblical proverbs from Armenian medieval literature, new interpretation of the Western-Armenian national constitution, the concept of training Russian teachers, as well as problems in teaching English in high-schools.
