Today, the Faculty of Art Education with its two-day events announced the end of the jubilee year at the University.

On this occasion, en exhibition was opened yesterday, which was followed by a concert arranged at the Aram Khachatryan house-museum with the participation of both lecturers and talented students.
Among those present at the concert was the University Chancellor Rouben Mirzakhanyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Art Education Sargis Elbakyan together with lecturers, students and representatives of music society.
The concert started with the performance of the female choir under the conduct of Artashes Babouryan.

During the concert the following compositions were performed: Joakino Rossini’s “Cats”, Arno Babajanyan’s “Armenian Rhapsody”, Johannes Brahms’s “Waltz” and other famous classical pieces, as well as other authoring performances and duets. Likewise, the violin ensemble of the Faculty also congratulated the University’s anniversary and the coming New Year.
In addition, the guests were also greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Art Education Sargis Elbakyan who considered this occasion the last accord of the jubilee events. The latter briefly summarized the University’s achievements in 2012, mentioning the scientific conferences, international symposiums, and a number newly established cooperation, highlighting the importance of the cultural initiatives, in particular.
