Students Get Acquainted with Pedagogical University

The Faculty of History and Jurisprudence closely cooperates with different secondary education institutions with the view of transferring students the breath and spirit of patriotism

 along with historical knowledge. 
 
 
Within the framework of this cooperation, the Faculty today hosted about 40 students of 10th and 11th grades studying in the humanities stream of â„–112 experimental high school.
 
 
They participated in a lecture entitled “Lessons of History” during which Edik Gevorgyan, Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor, presented heroic episodes of Armenian history and analyzed the historical realities of the present and the future.
 
 

In his speech, Mr Gevorgyan underscored the role of an educator in the life of the Armenian people and stressed the importance of pedagogical psychology and skills in every and each profession.
 
 
Accompanied by School Principal Sargis Karamyan, who is aa graduate of the Pedagogical University, and their teachers, the students walked around the University, visited the museum, auditoriums of Informatics and Chess, Cabinet of Armenian History and got familiarized with the rich collection of the scientific library.
 
 
Seeing the enthusiasm of the visitors and hearing their opinions, Edik Gveorgyan said that many of the students left the University with the unbroken decision to continue their studies at the Pedagogical University in the future.
