13.02.2013
A year ago, the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) and the United Nations Department of Public Information (UN DPI) signed a cooperation agreement. The parties have implemented a number of joint educational and cognitive programmes ever since.

At the initiative of the Department of International Cooperation and Career Center, numerous students of the University were recently involved at the initial stage of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme.

Students of the Faculty of Culture, Olga Muradyan, Amalya Shahnazaryan and Nina Seyranyan, demonstrated professional skills and an excellent knowledge of the English language and were given an opportunity to participate in the volunteer work of the UN DPI.

“The programme opens great opportunities for our students. It enables them to understand the importance of volunteer work, get in touch with leading specialists of the sphere, apply theoretical knowledge in practice and participate in the entire work of the Organization,” said Christina Tsaturyan, Head of the Department of International Cooperation.
