Today was the last day of the final attestation of the postgraduate thesis defense at the Faculty of Primary Education.
The committee under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Frunzik Ghazaryan heard and assessed works of 18 students of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology (preschool).
The postgraduate works comprised the activities realized by the MA students during one and a half years’ time on pedagogical-psychological issues at preschool age.
The MA students spoke about problems that are in need of a new and modern research.
Besides the scientific hypothesis, the works also included the results of the practical analysis made at preschool institutions.
The members of the committee are satisfied with the defense process; the Chairman of the committee Frunzik Ghazaryan stated that postgraduates having fundamental education show higher progress. “They successfully combine the research they made with the knowledge they received in the course of studies. I appreciate it more highly that such works, which can serve as a ground to be introduced into the pedagogical practice, were presented for defense.”
Let us also mention that in 2012/13 the Faculty of Primary Education had 31 MA graduates.
