Pupils Visit the Pedagogical Museum
The Pedagogical Museum keeps its doors open for all visitors. Recently, under the initiative of the Department of Admissions Organization and Coordination, school-children have

 also been included into the list of visitors to the Museum; today, around 20 high-school students of 11th grade of the school N 198 visited the University. 
 
The guests made a tour around the 3D museum, got acquainted with the chronology of the University establishment up to our days, the faculties, the involvement of the Pedagogical into the Great Patriotic and the Artsakh Wars, the specialists teaching at the University and who have had their contribution to the development of pedagogy.  
 
The Senior specialist of the Department of Admissions Organization and Coordination Arminei Tonoyan mentioned during her interview to the armspu.am that the consultancy to pupils is one of the functions of their department. “Such visits help pupils to get familiar with the admissions procedure, the examination arrangements; and the visit to the museum helps to get aware of the current departments and the history of the University.”  
 

In addition, Arminei Tonoyan added that there is initial arrangement with all high-schools of the city to arrange such visits on continuous basis. 
 
The 11th grade teacher of the economic stream of the high-school â„– 198 Gohar Gevorgyan is impressed with what she saw; such changes and progress was a real surprise for her.
 
In her turn, Svetlana Metsoyan, her student, is not less excited and surprised than her teacher. “It was the first time that I was at the University. Now I am leaving full of wonderful impressions. The competently organized excursion, detailed and accessible information help to get acquainted with the history and activities of the University. I never knew that a number of prominent cultural and public figures were graduates of this very University, and Khachatur Abovyan’s call and message was more than inspiring.”
The students also visited the Humanitarian Library of the University, got acquainted with specialized and fiction literature pieces.
