Today, an exhibition called “Winter impressions” was opened at the Faculty of Art Education which demonstrated around 28 paintings and graphic works of 5 students.

Davit and Arpi Shahverdyans, Araksya Aveyan, Sofi Haroutyunyan and Samson Badyan pictured winter in all its pomp, beauty in rural and urban scenes, in cozy nature landscapes by expressing the unforgettable impressions of the winter holidays.
One of the first viewers of the presented works was the Acting Head of the Department of Painting, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor, Academician of the RF Academy of Education Lems Nersisyan. The latter is pleased with the work done and thinks that the best teacher of a painter is the nature: “The group of students who organized the exhibition is quite skilled, and from the academic point of view I give an Excellent mark to their works.”
Moreover, the Professor observes that the exhibition somehow infects the students; all painter-pedagogues must have their individual exhibitions and participate in a variety of group exhibitions for their own self-establishment.

The Head of the Laboratory-Club “Triangle /Erankyun”, fourth year student of the Department of Painting and Drawing Davit Shahverdyan demonstrated six pieces at the exhibition: “All students who participated at the exhibition are members of the abovementioned club. And one of the club’s activities is organization of thematic exhibitions which express our direct expressions and not the flight of the mind”.
In her turn, Araksya Aloyan, who presented the majority of works at the exhibition, had been getting ready for the exhibition for around a month, considering it a right way for the development of professional qualifications. “In fact, there are drawbacks in all presented works. We are not professionals yet and should not definitely accept the criticism towards our works; if they are criticizing the works, it means they observed and noticed them.”
Let us also mention that the exhibition will continue until 7 March.
